Southern Barbeque Sauce

Try this tasty and easy-to-prepare sauce when grilling this summer.

Ingredients

 3/4 cup   Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon   Water (to sauté onions)
 1/4 cup   Lemon Juice
 2 Tablespoons   Vinegar
 1 Tablespoons   Worcestershire Sauce
 1/4 teaspoon  Liquid Smoke
 1 teaspoon  Paprika
 2 teaspoons  Mustard
 1/2 cup   Minced Onion
Pinch  Salt & Pepper (Adjust to your taste)

Direction
s

Sauté onions in water until onion are slightly browned. Add remaining ingredients and simmer over medium heat until sauce is thick enough to coat spoon evenly without running off it completely.

This is my favorite B-B-Q recipe and is excellent on any meats such as shrimp, chicken, pork or beef. It is also great as a condiment or as an ingredient in another dish such as Boston Style Baked Beans. I hope it becomes one of your favorites as well.
