Adrian's Tavern - Minneapolis
The little neighborhood in the big city
Sit down in Adrian's Tavern just south of 48th and Chicago in Minneapolis and the first sense you get is that this is the center of a community. Neighbors stop in for the best hamburgers in Minneapolis, a glass of wine and friendly conversations. This is a true neighborhood grill and bar establishment with great tasting food.
Families treasure Adrian's as a family-friendly refuge. Every Thursday or Friday night you will find a father and mother with their children enjoying the evening together. Several video games and pin ball machines provide entertainment while Mom and Dad relax in a booth nearby.
There's a lot of history wrapped up in this building. It opened as a steakhouse in 1931. During the 1940's is was a 3.2% tavern. The name Adrian's Tavern came into being during 1963 and the current owners, Jim and Karen Pratt, continue the same tradition today.
Adrian's Annual Rib Feast
Jim and Karen would like to invite everyone to attend Adrian's Rib Feast, a grilling competition held the second Saturday of August each year. This is the public's chance to come out and experience some of the best home-grilled ribs made by local backyard cooks. Dixieland musicians are on hand to entertain the crowds that turn out for this community event.
