Mesquite Biscuits


Ingredients   

 1 1/2 cups    Whole Wheat Flour
 1/4 cup   Corn Meal
 1/4 cup  Mesquite Meal
 2 tablespoons  Baking Powder
 1/2 teaspoon   Black Pepper
 1/4 teaspoon   Salt
 1/2 teaspoon Granulated Garlic  
 2 each  Jalapeno Peppers, Medium
 2 Tablespoons  Olive Oil, Extra Virgin
 1 each  Large Egg
 2/3 cup  Milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Mix dry ingredients together thoroughly.

Mix liquid ingredients together thoroughly adding jalapenos (diced).

Mix liquid and dry ingredients together folding just enough to mix so dough is smooth. Do not over mix or biscuits will not rise properly.

Bake about 20 minutes.
